Tips for a Squeaky Wheel

1. Check Caliper and Disc (Only for disc brake models, if your model does not have a disc brake move to the next step):It is not unusual to hear a swishing sound. This is typically the caliper sliding against the brake pads and will subside over time. Ensure front wheel is correctly engaged or quick release is in poisition: Ensure the front quick release is correctly engage in the front wheel. Follow these steps:Remove the front wheel and reinstall. See this Video. When reinstalling front wheel, make sure quick release spring, thin side faces into fork. See below for reference:

Dust Guard Lubricate - Advanced Step: We suggest you remove the rubber dust guards, followed by testing, if sound goes away, you will need “bicycle grease” to be packed in the hub/ dust guard to moisten and reinstall. A bicycle shop can assist with the proper bicycle grease.Here are the steps:a. Remove the dust guard with flat object:
